Inflight Emergency Medical and Defibrillator Training for pilots, flight engineers and cabin crew is an intensive one-day (8 hrs) training program designed specifically for aircraft crew members. The training program follows best medical practices, nationally accepted training programs, and industry standards for the care of in-flight medical problems, including O.S.H.A. blood borne pathogen requirements, CPR and the use of automatic external defibrillators (AEDs).
In addition, Aircare includes medical simulation drills on full motion cabin simulators so that crews can practice and train in a realistic aircraft environment.
For our Aircare Access Assistance Customers, training includes a thorough review of your medical kit contents and the tools available to you for assessment and treatment; as well as real calls into the Access Communications Center to practice inflight emergencies.
