SAN DIEGO, CA (June 16th, 2011) – Aircare FACTS® Training International announced today that it has introduced the first of three new mobile aircraft cabin fire trainers into their fleet of emergency procedures simulators. The new mobile trainers allow crewmembers to experience in-flight fire fighting in an enclosed business aircraft cabin-like environment. The first simulator, dubbed “Aircare FACTS® Fire 1”, produces smoke and live fire from three separate locations; an enclosed lavatory, a galley and cabin divan seating area. AIRCARE FACTS® TRAINING OPENS NEW EUROPEAN TRAINING BASE

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND (May 17th, 2011) – Aircare FACTS® Training International announced today that it will open its first European fixed training base in Amsterdam in July, 2011. Aircare FACTS® Training specializes in crew member emergency procedures training for business aviation. The company’s courses combine classroom instruction with extensive hands-on equipment drills to provide an elite training experience for pilots, flight attendants, maintenance technicians and flight engineers. Aircare FACTS® trained crews receive instruction on land and water evacuation procedures including water ditching, inflight and ground emergencies, inflight medical, smoke and live fire fighting, turbulence, decompression, hypoxia awareness, crew coordination and more, using aircraft specific safety and emergency equipment. AIRCARE FACTS® TRAINING LAUNCHES ONE-DAY EMERGENCY PROCEDURES TRAINING FOR PILOTS AT THEIR DFW LOCATION

Olympia, WA (April 11, 2011) – Aircare FACTS® Training International announced today that they have launched a new one-day safety and emergency procedures program designed specifically for pilots, to be held at their Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Airport training facility located at CAE SimuFlite.

The course provides pilots who are attending CAE training an opportunity for an intense one-day program that combines classroom instruction with extensive hands-on equipment experience. Pilots are given instruction in aviation fire fighting with live fire exercises, emergency land evacuation scenarios and wet ditching. Also presented is Hypoxia Awareness Training, including use of a hypoxia simulator that allows participants to feel the symptoms of hypoxia without exposure to the potential risks of a decompression chamber. The course is instructed from a flight-deck perspective and an emphasis on human factors, communication and leadership during emergency situations. Read more.
